• Corsair

  Corsair is a tool for analysis and optimization, targeted at aircraft designers. Building on ideas from GPkit and SUAVE, Corsair targets efficient optimization used in combination with multi-fidelity analysis. The EnCAPS software provides a core geometry engine, along with extensions to a wide variety of analysis methods.
  
  Corsair is available for beta testing upon request, but Version 0.0.0 is expected to be released in Mid 2022. The initial release will ship with a variety of gradient based and heuristic solvers, a human readable syntax for constructing large scale optimization problems, and a flexible methodology for integrating custom analysis methods and surrogate models. Detailed documentation and a suite of unit tests will also be provided.
